At CHE, we are developing our online membership networks, a decision based both upon internal reflection and feedback from our members. We understand and appreciate that members would like a forum or digital network where they can connect with one another, share ideas and resources, engage in dialogue and receive news from CHE. We are looking for feedback from our members and non-members with an interest in becoming members, about what you would like to see from a CHE membership. At other co-ops, members receive something as simple as early news about courses and events ahead of general release. However, at CHE, we would like our membership to extend further than this, providing a meaningful space for people to share ideas and partake actively within the CHE community. Please send any thoughts and ideas to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with 'Membership Thoughts' in the subject line.

As a member of the Co-operative University Federation (CUF), CHE has been involved in developing and defining co-operative pedagogy for CUF and also re-discovering CHE’s co-operative pedagogy. The ‘co-operative intellect’ is CHE’s take on combining the Scottish generalist tradition with co-operative education. On 24th November, the informal ‘Scottish co-operative education’ network hosted the webinar ‘Rising from trauma and crisis with co-operative education’. We would like to continue the conversation furthering the reach of co-operative education in Scotland and the UK. If you would like to be involved, please contact Anne on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
With CHE located at the Pearce Institute opposite the location for the climate talks, we have an opportunity to stand for the planet and to invite the communities of Glasgow to engage in this significant event - so that instead of being a part of the city’s geography, they become engaged to become active in making change in Glasgow. We don’t know yet what this might look like, but if you would like to join the organising committee, please contact Anne on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We are especially looking for a volunteer representative to co-ordinate liaison with the multitude of climate groups / NGO’s working in Glasgow during COP26.
